We are looking to recruit people who share our approach to providing an independent, high quality, client focussed acoustic consultancy service. At present we are looking for a Junior Consultant / Acoustic Technician.
Location:
East Haddon, Northamptonshire in the Midlands with easy access to M1, M6 and A14 and close to Leicestershire and Warwickshire.
Role
Junior Consultant / Acoustic Technician – this role is based in our office in rural Northamptonshire (between Northampton & Rugby) with some flexibility for part-time working, and home working once suitably experienced. The full scope of the role & responsibilities will be based on your qualifications / experience, and will include liaising with clients, undertaking noise surveys all over the UK, calculations and preparing noise assessments and reports.
Requirements for Junior Consultant / Acoustic Technician:
- applicants must have the right to work in the UK.
- excellent spoken and written communication skills;
- a full driving licence is essential;
- good maths skills (high grade at GCSE is essential, preferably A-level);
- good IT skills including competency using Microsoft Excel and Word;
- relevant acoustic consultancy experience, and/or knowledge of an acoustic computer modelling package would be an advantage; and
- a degree in acoustics is preferred, or a degree in a related subject with an interest in acoustics and the capability to learn about this fascinating subject.
Remuneration:
Competitive salary, 25 days holiday plus statutory holidays, enhanced pension scheme, private healthcare, life assurance and a company car/car allowance. We will also offer to fund further study in acoustics, such as the IOA Diploma or Certificate of Competence, to the right candidate.
