WBM works for waste recycling and disposal companies in the UK on a wide range of sites such as landfill, waste transfer stations, materials recycling facilities, anaerobic digestion plants and other energy from waste schemes. The environmental benefit of recycling has to be balanced against the potential noise disturbance caused by these processes, some of which are required to operate 24 hours a day and 7 days a week.

WBM has built up a large database of plant noise levels, be it for household waste recycling facilities or demolition and construction related materials, for use in site noise calculations.
