Robert Storey BEng PhD MIOA obtained his degree in Mining Engineering from the University of Leeds in 1993 before going on to complete a PhD in “The Acoustic Response of Structures to Blast Induced Ground Vibration” in 1998. He joined WBM in 2007 after working in acoustic consultancy and environmental health since 1999.

Robert is involved mainly in environmental noise, with extensive experience on mineral extraction, waste and industrial projects. His projects have included noise assessments, planning applications and environmental statements.

He is experienced in noise modelling using SoundPlan for transportation, industrial and environmental sources.

Robert is a film enthusiast and a keen supporter of Middlesbrough F.C. and Yorkshire County Cricket Club.
