Pre-Completion Testing to ADE 2003

WBM offers a comprehensive sound insulation testing service, undertaken in accordance with current national and international standards and current Building Regulations for residential and commercial developments.

ADE 2003 requires that new build & newly converted housing and rooms for residential purposes are tested to demonstrate compliance with the sound insulation requirements stated in the regulations. In addition, companies who carry out the tests must be either UKAS Accredited or have some other appropriate third party accreditation such as the Association of Noise Consultants (ANC) Registration Scheme.

WBM is registered with the ANC Registration Scheme to carry out sound insulation testing for Approved Document E 2003 and currently has three registered testers. The ANC scheme has been formally recognised by the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister as appropriate "third-party" accreditation for such tests. Sound insulation tests for Robust Details and the Code for Sustainable Homes can also be undertaken.
