The Walker Beak Mason Partnership (WBM) has a history which is firmly embedded in the areas of both environmental acoustics and architectural & building acoustics. Generally, environmental acoustics covers all aspects of outdoor noise generation and propagation, such as from transportation, while architectural acoustics may broadly be described as the science of noise control within buildings and room acoustics describes how sound behaves in an enclosed space.
We maintain a broad range of expertise by careful selection of consultants and can offer existing and new clients a full range of technical acoustic support in the above areas.
The Partnership has consultants involved within the Institute of Acoustics and the Association of Noise Consultants and actively follows changes in legislation, standards and good practise approaches to problem solving. We can offer professional expert witness provision to our clients in specific areas and, across all aspects of acoustics, we will support our clients on projects both in the UK and abroad.
