Skanska Construction Essex
WBM was instructed in July 2010 by Skanska Construction to supply noise and vibration monitoring equipment for demolition and construction activity at two schools in Essex, with weekly site visits to check the equipment.
We sourced specialist vibration monitoring equipment from a hire company that allowed for the results of ground borne vibration measurements to be sent via email link on a daily basis that could then be correlated to records of site activity maintained by the client. This enabled continuous vibration monitoring to take place on-site over an eight week period at locations within the site near to vibration sensitive receptors.
