WBM has considerable experience in the leisure industry and has worked on over two hundred projects involving new multiplex cinemas, cinema conversions and refurbishments, leisure parks, hotels, night-clubs, casinos, pubs, bingo halls, bowling alleys and health & fitness clubs. Projects include both UK and overseas markets.

These issues can be addressed through proper attention to sound insulation, room acoustics and services noise. WBM provides practical advice on all aspects of acoustics including assistance on constructions and materials to achieve relevant criteria.

WBM offers a comprehensive service for architects, operators, planners, developers and contractors covering all aspects of the acoustic design from initial feasibility through to the design stage, preparation of acoustic specifications and on to successful project completion. Acoustic testing both at shell completion and post fit-out is undertaken.

Mechanical services are an integral part of any building development or refurbishment and WBM works closely with relevant consultants and contractors to ensure that appropriate noise criteria are achieved. WBM also carries out plant noise assessment and measurement of services noise and associated plant to assist with trouble-shooting.
